The I-Wireless Center is an indoor 12,000 seat civic center where minor league sporting events, as well as concerts and events are held. Players' Event Sunday, July 27, 2008, immediately following opening ceremonies. Team entertainment, including food, will be provided. Team Pictures Team pictures will be scheduled beginning Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10:00AM at the Greenvalley Sports Complex and continuing through Tuesday, July 29 at 5:00PM. Opening Games Pool play begins Monday, July 28, 2008 at 8:00 am. Official Game Ball The official game ball is provided by Worth Sporting Goods. Dream Seam, Optic Yellow softballs will be available for resale for those teams wanting to practice with the official game softball. Practice Fields Practice fields will be offered to registered teams on a first-come, first-serve basis, and may be reserved by calling Scott Lund, Moline Park and Recreation Department, at (309) 736-5714. Umpires may be requested for practice sessions. Umpire fees are $25.00 per umpire per game (2 umpire system will be utilized), and are payable directly to the umpires by the team at the practice game. Playing Fields -- Green Valley Sports Complex Green Valley Sports Complex is an 8 diamond lighted facility. Outfield fence 200' Campbell Complex is a 4 diamond lighted facility. Outfield fence 200' The tournament will offer a wide variety of concession foods. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE ADMISSION GATES. Each dugout will contain a water cooler with cups. NO OUTSIDE WATER COOLERS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE COMPLEX. Alcoholic Beverages/Smoking/Pets All alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the softball complex and parking areas. Smoking is prohibited in Greenvalley Sports Complex, but is allowed in the parking lot areas. Pets are prohibited in the softball complex. Warm-up Areas Teams are required to warm-up outside the fenced in areas. There is ample room outside of the gates for team's to warm-up. No throwing or swinging of bats will be allowed outside the field of play. This is for the safety of all. No infield practice will be permitted prior to games. Run Ahead Rule 15-12-8 Time Limit Rule Pool play only -- no inning shall start after 1 hour and 40 minutes. Tie-Breaker Rule If, after the completion of seven innings of play (or 1 hour 40 minutes for pool play) the scores is tied, starting with the top of the eighth inning a runner will begin the inning at second base. Line-up Cards Tournament officials will provide line-up cards for each team. An official line-up card must be submitted to the scorekeeper at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled game time.

Coin Flips Tournament officials will conduct a coin flip at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time. Home team will occupy the third base dugout. Awards Team trophies will be awarded to the top six teams. Individual awards will be given to the National Champions, Runner-up, third place and fourth place teams. Coach & Player Passes Each team will be given up to three coaches/manager passes, one bat person pass and one pass for each player attending the tournament who is listed on the roster. Passes must be shown each time entering the facility. Even when in uniform! Lost passes will be replaced at a fee of $40. Tournament Tickets & All-Tournament Passes Tournament passes will go on sale beginning at team check-in and will be sold at the gate.
Adult all-tournament pass = $45
Senior (60+) all-tournament pass = $30
Youth (5-12 yrs) all-tournament pass = $25 Children 5 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Souvenirs Souvenirs will be available throughout the week. We will offer a wide variety of items for you to purchase as souvenirs and gifts. Gift Exchange It is customary in National tournaments to exchange gifts with teams prior to their first pool play game. Inclement Weather If for any reason, weather interferes with the completion of games, the tournament directors will reschedule games and adjust the schedule accordingly to keep the tournament on schedule.
